Save pangolins

Pangolins teeter on the edge of extinction, victims of human superstition and greed. These unique animals, covered in protective scales, are being hunted to near extinction due to baseless beliefs in the medicinal and aphrodisiac properties of their scales. As the pangolin population plummets, their scarcity has transformed them into expensive delicacies for those flaunting their wealth, worsening their plight.

Despite international bans on the trade and export of pangolins, illegal poaching and smuggling persist. Robust Enforcement of these laws, alongside severe penalties for poachers and consumers, is imperative to combat this crisis. Experts warn that without immediate action, Asian pangolins could vanish within the next 20 years—a tragedy we must prevent.

Creating this artwork was a labor of love, marked by six iterations and numerous revisions to achieve both aesthetic beauty and functionality. The process was deeply personal, making it difficult to share.
