This fully-printed gumball machine uses a unique push-button mechanism. See here for assembly and operation: https://youtu.be/4cwWgvDVNeI
The spring is printed separately so it is easy to replace if it gets broken or worn.
The dispenser is sized specifically for "Gobstoppers" which are between 13-14 mm in diameter. The holes are 15 mm to allow for extra clearance.
To assemble, first place the "Plunger" inside the "Case" and out through the hole. Hold the semicircular parts of the "Spring" slightly open and insert into the case and over the "Plunger." Place the "Funnel" down over top. Fill the "Globe" with candy and screw into place.
Print the spring this as cleanly as possible with 0.8 mm nozzle, no brim, a single wall for the semicircular springs and double wall for the remaining walls. Anything extra will interfere with the functioning of the spring. See picture above.
The remaining parts can be printed as you wish. Minimal infill is required.
The "Voronoi Globe" is provided with supports and without.
The threads have a 0.5 mm tolerance for a snug fit. It is a good idea to clean the threads out first with something like a Dremel abrasive brush.
