Dragon Slayer Greatsword - Guts Berserk Life-Size Cosplay Prop | 1.8 m
Model Description
In Kentaro Miura's Berserk, the Dragon Slayer is the slab of iron the blacksmith Godot forged after a king called on his vassals for a sword that could kill a dragon. Godot's lord judged the result crude and unusable and drove him out. Years later Guts pulled it from storage and swung it as if it weighed nothing. It has been the Black Swordsman's signature weapon ever since, a blade the story itself calls too big to be called a sword.
This model recreates it at full prop scale, 1800 mm from tip to pommel, already cut for a 256 mm print bed.
IMPORTANT: the Ø16 mm core rod is NOT included in the files you buy. Supply it yourself: an aluminium tube works best, or use a Ø16 mm wooden dowel instead.
What you get:
- 9 printed parts, the largest 234.86 mm long, plus a Ø8 x 30 mm dowel part you print 10 times
- 10 STL files, about 78 MB in total
- Raised tenon joints with a 1.2 mm anti-rotation flat, each tenon pierced by the core tube
- Built around a Ø16 mm core rod 1680 mm long that runs through every part; it can be cut shorter from the tip end
- Plastic wall around the tube 2.03 mm or more, tenon wall 2.83-5.94 mm
- The cloth wrap at the pommel is printed as part of the piece
- Overall length 1800.00 mm

Suggested FDM settings (adjust to your printer):
- PLA, about 15% infill, designed for a 256 x 256 x 256 mm bed
- Print the dowel part 10 times
- Supply your own Ø16 mm core rod, 1680 mm (aluminium tube or wooden dowel, not included), and thread it through the tenons as you assemble
- Dry-fit every joint first; this build is meant to be glued permanently with CA or epoxy
- Fill the seams, prime and paint for that raw, beaten iron look
