1. FDM (Filament) Setup Orientation: Upright on the flat bottom of the conical base. Layer Height: 0.12 mm – 0.16 mm (0.12 mm recommended for smooth layer transitions on the elongated neck and curved coiffure). Wall Perimeters: 3 – 4 (1.2 mm – 1.6 mm total wall thickness for rigidity and weight at the base). Infill: 10% – 15% (Gyroid or Adaptive Cubic; consider using a gradient infill modifier with higher density at the lower 20% for added base stability). Top / Bottom Layers: 4 Top / 4 Bottom. Supports: Required. Support Type: Tree / Organic Supports. Overhang Angle: 55°. Placement Areas: Beneath the chin, under the ear lobes, and under the posterior overhang of the hair bun. Build Plate Adhesion: Skirt (or a 5 mm Brim if printing at tall scales to ensure bed stability during high Z-axis travel). ---
2. SLA / DLP (Resin) Setup Orientation: Angled at 30° – 45° tilting backward to minimize cross-sectional suction forces across the neck. Layer Height: 0.03 mm – 0.05 mm. Hollowing: Highly recommended (2.0 mm – 2.5 mm wall thickness). Drainage Holes: Minimum 2 holes (3–4 mm diameter) positioned on the flat underside of the conical base. Support Strategy: Heavy supports on the lowest point of the base/neck, transitioning to medium supports under the chin and back of the head, and light supports on the ears.
