Torment yourself and your printer with this treacherous tangle of tubes.

The overhangs are insane so your printer will hate it. And the tubes all follow random paths so you’re going to get wet if you try running water through it. Mostly useless but could be used as a vase with a glass insert.

Snapmaker sent me a roll of PVA and challenged me to design something that could not be printed any other way. PVA dissolves in water, making it a useful support structure material for 3D printing. You can use it on complex geometries and hollow designs without worrying about removing the support. Model shown was printed on my Snapmaker J1 IDEX printer.

I don’t think this model can be printed any other way… prove me wrong!

The “Plumbers Nightmare Sculpture 1 – Pipes” is the model file. If you need to block supports inside the tubes you can use the “Plumbers Nightmare Sculpture 1 – Blockers” with walls, top/bottom layers and infill set to zero to block your slicer from placing supports inside of the tube.
