These hinges are designed to integrate with PVC lattice privacy screens with 1" square openings such as these: https://www.rona.ca/en/privacy-pvc-lattice-10505003.
The hinges and screens can be customized to meet a variety of needs. The pictures above show how a hall space can be blocked off in 3 different configurations.
All holes accept 1/4" hex bolts. Use 3/4" length for the lattice attachments and 2" length for the hinges.
Use a soldering gun to heat up the nuts and melt them into the hex shaped holes.
The tolerance between hinge arms is .2mm, which is intentionally tight so that the gate will hold itself in place. File out the space between the hinge arms if you prefer a more freely moving gate.
The square insert inside the "Gate Side Hinge" is offset 28 mm to accommodate the factory edge. The square inserts inside both "Gate Articulating Hinges" is offset 20 mm to accommodate a custom cut edge.
