As he loosed an arrow at a majestic deer, another arrow struck the beast simultaneously. The other hunter was Silas Brightspark, seeking rare ingredients for his spells. As they both approached the fallen deer, a heated debate ensued over whose arrow had been the kill shot.
In the midst of their argument, Elara Steelblade emerged, laughing at the coincidence—she too had been tracking the same deer. The trio's initial contention turned into camaraderie as they shared the deer's meat around a campfire, finding common ground in their adventurous spirits and forging a bond that would lead to many shared quests.
